Consultation
Before beginning therapy, all prospective clients are invited to schedule a complimentary consultation. This initial conversation gives us an opportunity to connect, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore whether we are a good fit for working together. It also provides space for you to ask questions and learn more about my approach to therapy.
Consultations are free and scheduled for 30 minutes.
-
Intake Assessment
After your consultation, we will begin with an intake assessment session. This initial session allows us to get to know one another, discuss your history and current concerns, and identify goals that reflect what is most important to you. Together, we will create a personalized therapy plan with goals that are realistic, meaningful, and supportive of your growth and well-being.
Intake assessments are scheduled for 90 minutes to ensure there is ample time to thoroughly explore your needs and answer any questions you may have.
Ongoing Therapy Sessions: Sessions are offered virtually in one-on-one, 60-minute appointments. Weekday sessions are available, including evening hours for flexible scheduling. Clients may choose either weekly or biweekly sessions.
I currently accept adult clients (18+) residing in: DC, NY, UT, VA, and VT. Sessions are tailored to each client’s individual needs using a collaborative and supportive approach.

Intake Assessment: $250
60 Minute Therapy Session: $200
If you are utilizing your insurance’s out of network benefits, the full fee is due at the time of your session, then you are able file a claim with your insurance provider for partial reimbursement.
Reimbursement rates typically range from 50% to 80% after you’ve met your deductible. I am happy to provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.
Before Starting Therapy, Please Contact the Member Services phone number on the back of your health insurance card.
What to Ask Your Insurance Provider
Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health or behavioral health coverage?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
What percentage of outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered per session?
How many outpatient therapy sessions are allowed per calendar year?
What is the process for submitting claims?
Do you reimburse for Telehealth appointments and is a specific modifier required?
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the expected cost of your care as required by the No Surprises Act of 2021.
Under federal law, providers must offer an estimate to clients who:
Do not have insurance, or
Choose not to use their insurance
This helps you understand costs in advance and make informed decisions about your care.
For questions or more information about your right to a GFE, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Payments Accepted: Insurance, debit, credit, bank account (ACH transfer).
All clients must have at least one payment method stored on file to cover any co-pays or fees.

Out of mutual respect, appointments are scheduled in advance to ensure we have dedicated time to meet for sessions. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please communicate as soon as possible.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, 24 hours advance notice is required or you will be charged for the full fee amount of the canceled or missed appointment by credit card.
Insurance does not cover missed or late canceled sessions. If you are using insurance, you will be charged the full amount that would have been paid by insurance, not just the co-pay.
A 15-minute grace period is provided before the no-show fee is applied. Appointment times will not be extended for late arrivals.
A valid card on file (credit, debit, or HSA/FSA card) is required to secure your appointment time and allow for a seamless scheduling and billing process.
The card on file will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours and missed appointments.
Please ask any questions about the cancellation policy during your consultation.
