My Therapy Specialties
Compassionate, Evidence-Based Virtual Therapy
When you're struggling, it can be hard to see beyond what's happening right now—the racing thoughts, emotional exhaustion, difficult memories, or feeling that you're simply trying to get through the day.
Therapy can give you space to slow down, understand what you're experiencing, and work through the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I offer specialized support, tailored to your needs and goals.
Complex Trauma & Relational Healing
Moving beyond survival mode, healing childhood wounds, and creating healthier relationships with yourself and others.
If early life experiences, chronic people-pleasing, or painful attachment patterns continue to affect your relationships, boundaries, emotions, or sense of safety, therapy can help you understand these survival traits and reclaim your identity.
Perinatal Mental Health & Birth Trauma
Support for the emotional side of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenthood.
You can love your baby deeply and still feel overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or flooded by intrusive thoughts and postpartum rage. Therapy provides space to process frightening birth experiences, help your body find a sense of calm and safety, navigate identity shifts, and feel like yourself again.
Grief, Loss & Life Transitions
Making space for what has changed while finding your way forward.
Whether you're grieving a loved one, navigating the quiet pain of pregnancy loss, mourning a past version of yourself, or adjusting to a major life change, therapy can help you process the anxiety of uncertainty and find your footing.
Your Experience Doesn't Have to Fit Into One Box
Your experiences may overlap across different areas of your life. Trauma can affect relationships, grief can accompany major life changes, and pregnancy or parenthood can bring up emotions you never expected.
Therapy is tailored to your experiences, goals, and needs—not limited to a single category.
Therapy should feel both supportive and practical. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I combine evidence-based therapies with trauma-informed and body-based approaches to help you understand your patterns, process difficult experiences, manage emotional distress, and feel more grounded in daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
You don't have to choose just one. Many clients find that their struggles overlap. For example, becoming a parent (perinatal) can often bring up unhealed childhood wounds (complex trauma), or a major career change can bring up deep identity questions (grief/life transitions). During our initial consultation, we will talk about everything you are carrying and build a plan that looks at you as a whole person, not a single category.
-
I absolutely treat anxiety and depression. Instead of treating them as standalone issues, I look at why they are happening. Often, chronic anxiety and depression are the body's natural response to survival mode from past trauma, the massive hormonal and identity shifts of postpartum life, or a heavy season of grief and transition. We will work to relieve your symptoms while healing the root cause.
-
No, you do not. Trauma is not defined by the size of the event, but by how your nervous system processed it. Complex trauma often stems from ongoing, invisible experiences like childhood emotional neglect, chronic criticism, or constantly walking on eggshells at home. If you feel chronically on guard, struggle to trust others, or have a loud inner critic, trauma therapy can help you heal.
-
Yes, because every major life change requires us to say goodbye to something familiar. Even positive, chosen changes—like starting a new career, relocating, or becoming a parent—bring a real sense of loss for your old routine or past self. Therapy gives you permission to celebrate your new chapter while safely mourning what you left behind.
-
Yes, absolutely. The perinatal period does not have a strict expiration date. If you are still carrying unresolved birth trauma, struggling with fertility challenges, navigating the grief of a past pregnancy loss, or trying to find your identity years after having a child, this specialized support is entirely for you. It is never too late to process these major shifts.
